This weekend I made dinner for my cousin and her family ... the first time I've ever had to prepare that many dishes on my own (though they ended up helping some) and for that many people to depend on me for dinner! I want to make meatloaf tonight. I have one recipe that always comes out well, but I'd like to try another. Anything without celery please, I can't stand the stuff.

Also, I'm doing mashed potatoes. What are your favourite add-ins?

Which of these is, in your opinion, the best tool for mashing potatoes:

A masher
A potato ricer
A food mill

Or maybe something else? And why do you prefer it?

I want to start making mashed potatoes, so I'd like to hear some thoughts and opinions on preferred methods.
